Sonic Mischief Fanzine
The Sonic Mischief Zine! A non-profit fanzine to celebrate the Villains in the Sonic Franchise. For my piece I wanted to highlight two of the newest baddies in the Sonic franchise, Surge the tenrec and Kitsunami the fennec. Since their debut in the Sonic comics, it has been nothing but trauma and hardship so why not give them a fun night at the local arcade?

Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire
In 2014, the MUCH anticipated remakes of the popular Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, were released. As these were my first introduction into the Pokémon franchise, I was among those eager to play the updated games. I once again fell in love with the Hoenn region and lived through the protagonist. May, a young girl caught in the middle of a feud between two close friends who were torn apart due to opposing views, is the only one can save Hoenn and all the people and pokémon who call it home.

With the end of their nefarious plans, Maxie and Archie are free to rekindle their relationship and help each other grow. It’s a wish come true.
The Last Unicorn - 40th Anniversary
“There has never been a time without unicorns. We live forever! We are as old as the sky, old as the moon! We can be hunted, trapped; we can even be killed if we leave our forests, but we do not vanish. Am I truly the last?”
2022 is the 40th anniversary of the amazing film, The Last Unicorn. In celebration, I drew my interpretation of The Unicorn Rests in a Garden tapestries featuring the beautiful Lady Amalthea/the Unicorn.

The Owl and the Pussy-Cat
To test myself and my illustration, character concepting, storyboarding, and story skills, I adapted the 1871 poem “The Owl and the Pussy-cat” by Edward Lear into a book dummy. The poem is a sweet love story about an owl and cat in love who travel far to find a wedding ring and marry.

I love to see myself and other LGBTQ+ folks represented in media. For this zine, I wanted to celebrate some of my favorite characters in some of my favorite pieces of media. They range from action packed horror shows to kids cartoons. It is important that people are able to see them selves in all kinds of media.

Two sides of the same coin, Akira Kurusu and Goro Akechi’s fates intertwin leading to their deadly rivalry. If only they met a few years earlier, maybe things didn’t have to turn out this way. Maybe they could have been something more than just rivals.

It was a fun challenge to take such iconic characters and put my own twist on them. In this “Wave 1” I drew 14 characters in my own style.
Art Fight - 2022
Art Fight is an annual art game that lasts for 1 month. Users can register on the site to join in. Each year, participants are split into two teams to which they are assigned randomly. Players "attack" people of the opposing team by making art of original characters you choose belonging to members of the other team. The artist that receives the attack can then counter that attack by drawing the character belonging to the person who attacked them, or pay it forward by attacking a different person on the other team. At the end of the month, the team with the greater score wins.
